The Philosophy, Politics, and the Public Experiential Learning Fund

One of the central commitments of the PPP Program is to support experiential learning opportunities for students. The experiential learning fund is one of the key ways we carry out our mission.

Donations are directly applied to students!

PPP's experiential learning fund is unique because 100% of funding is given directly to students. Rising Juniors and Seniors receive funding to support Summer internships that are unpaid or present a significant cost burden. The funding allows students to gain invaluable experiences and connections which they leverage as they pursue a career after graduating.

Thanks to generous donors, PPP can provide other unique experiences to students, including study abroad, Fall internships for Sophomores, and our annual trip to Washington DC.

How do students use funding?

Over the Summer, PPP supported five externship funding recipients. Students completed internships from Ohio, to Washington DC, and all the way to Ireland. In the past, PPP has supported students interning at the Ohio Statehouse, at the Hill for members of Congress, and in Cincinnati working for local government.
